Hyaluronic Acid

A major component of the skin. It is degraded by UVB light. Degradation of hyaluronic acid is one of the causes of wrinkles. Many injectable dermal fillers contain Hyaluronic Acid including Restylane, Juvederm, Perlane and Hylaform.
