Q.) Why is using Step 1 so important?
A.) The active ingredient in Step 1 is Salicylic Acid which enhances the penetration of any other topical active ingredient that is placed on the skin. Furthermore, Step 1 will dramatically inhibit harmful organisms on the skin including bacteria, viruses and fungus. If you have an allergy to aspirin, then you may also be allergic to any product that contains Salicylic Acid, including Step 1. If you are not sure whether or not you have an aspirin allergy, check with your doctor before using Step 1.

Step 1 is our Salicylic acid wash. Salicylic Acid is extremely effective at killing unwanted bacteria, fungi, and viruses on the skin. Step 1 also can remove derbris from the pores which will help make the pores look smaller. It can cause a dramatic reduction in acne. We add moisturizers and antioxidants to our Step 1 product to minimize any side effects. Further more, Step 1 helps loosen (but not injure) the skin's protective layer called the stratum corneum. By using Step 1 first, you will have much better result with the other products because they will be able to penetrate better into the skin. Additional features and benefits:
