Botox has been around for about 30 years. It is a safe drug with a long established track record. You could literally eat BOTOX® or even drip it in your eyes and NOTHING would happen! BOTOX® works only when it is injected and then absorbed into the muscles. For some patients BOTOX® is nearly a miracle drug!

There are two types of wrinkles, static and dynamic. Static wrinkles are those wrinkles that are present with and without movement of the underlying muscles. These wrinkles may or may not get improvement with BOTOX®. Dynamic wrinkles are those that appear with muscle movement and improve or disappear with muscle relaxation. In the upper face, dynamic wrinkles respond very nicely to BOTOX®. It is also possible to raise and shape eyebrows using BOTOX®. The very pretty "winged" eyebrows that are visible on many professional models and movie stars are generally created with BOTOX®. The process of using Botox to raise and shape the eyebrows is called a Chemical Brow Lift. Under some special circumstances Botox can also be used to treat the lower face.

We make sure you get the best possible result from BOTOX®

1) We use much smaller needles than most others use. They cost a lot more ($10 each vs 30 cents each) but they reduce bruising and they cause much less discomfort.

2) We concentrate the BOTOX® as much as possible to make the injections as small as possible. This reduces swelling, reduces bruising, and increases the comfort.

3) We record the exact amount and the precise location of each injection of BOTOX®. If you love the result, we can reproduce the result. If there is a problem with the result, we can adjust the position and amount of BOTOX® we use to give you a better result on your follow up treatments.

4) Your injections will always be performed by a physician, Dr. Sinclair.

5) We will teach you what to do and what not to do after your injection to get the best possible result.
