Evolence is a collagen based filler that was recently approved in the United States. Unlike Juvederm, Restylane and Perlane, Evolence is made out of collagen, not Hyaluronic Acid. The collagen in Evolence has been modified to last longer and yet retain the ability to avoid allergic reactions. It works by directly changing facial contours (hyaluronic acid fillers work by absorbing water to make the contour changes). Because Evolence is nearly identical to human collagen, no skin testing is required. Evolence lasts longer than most hyaluronic acid fillers. Injections of Evolence tend to cause less bruising and swelling. The result is a very natural facial enhancement that only takes a few minutes to perform but will last for about 1 year.
